She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Schoen and Ruth Schoen (Schwartz); and her husband Raymond Sears. She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Gordon (Bob), Rebekah Scott (Walker), Mary Lynn Heckert (Bruce), Ruthann Mason (Mike) and Masa Nakai. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
