He was predeceased by: his father Vito Basilico; his wives, Jeanette and Jan; and his brothers, Frank Basilico and Nick Basilico.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Pierik (David) and John Basilico (Dana); his grandchildren, Jonathan Pierik (Sarah), Janelle Fain (Drew), Bryan Basilico (Emily) and Nicole Floyd (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Alice Pierik, Brynlee Pierik, Eli Pierik Brody Basilico, Briar Floyd and Brooklyn Floyd; and his sister-in-law Anna Basilico.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). The lying in state was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the A. H. Peters Chapel (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
