He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Wagener; his son David Wagener; his sister Anna Marie Thompson; and his parents, Joseph Wagener and Antonie Wagener.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Vercellone (Charles), Robert Wagener (Alice) and Joni Grob; his grandchildren, Allison Hayhoe (Daniel), Lauren Vercellone (Nick Reynolds), Abigail Wagener (Zach Flewelling), Claire Grob, Emily Grob and Benjamin Grob; his great grandchildren, Sofia Hayhoe and Mia Hayhoe; his sister-in-law Sharon Bezy; and his nieces and nephews, Therese Treter, Eric Thompson, David Thompson, Amy Bezy and Marc Bezy.
