James Michael Szymanski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Michael Szymanski in Warren, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Szymanski and June Szymanski (Gorski); his brothers, Thomas and Daniel Szymanski; and his nieces, Jennifer Jones and Kari Schellie.
He is survived by: his former wife Kristen McInerney; his children, Lisa Stinson (Steve) of Hickory, NC and Jon Szymanski of Alpena, MI.; his stepdaughter Catie Mager (Joe); his grandchildren, Ashley Donovan (Derek), Jacob, Samantha, Roxana and Joey; his siblings, Jane Jones, William and Robert Szymanski (Pat); his sister-in-law Cindy Szymanski; and the mother of his children Dorothy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
