With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cassandra Jean Thomasson of Warren, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Thomasson and Elizabeth Duke (Rivard); her daughter Shelly Lepper; her stepfather Andrew Duke Sr.; and her brothers, David Thomasson (Susan) and Gregory Peters (Peggy).

She is survived by: her husband John Austin; her brothers, Timothy Peters (Betty), Andrew Duke Jr. (Jamie), John Duke (Diana), William Duke (Kimberly) and Daniel Duke (Janis); and her cousin Karen Kelly (Richard).

In lieu of flowers, it is her wish for donations to be made to The Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
