He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Emil Schneider and Johanna Schneider; and his siblings, Werner Schneider (Mardelle) and Linda Schneider. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas, Mark and Carl; his wife Margaret Schneider; his son Gerald Schneider (Benita); his grandchildren, Stephanie Schneider, Lauren Lachowicz (Kyle), Jaclyn Schneider, Tamara Schneider, Melissa Ortega (Moses), Dylan Schneider (Clare), Trish James (Jason), Jessica Schneider (David), Kelly Schalk and Lauren Schalk; his great grandchildren, Cole, Lachowicz, Donald, Dimirti, Kaden, Beckham, Naomi, Abel, Cierra, Devon, Anyah and Annalisa; and his sister Ellen Fox (James).
