He was predeceased by: his parent Elmon; his son Billy Akers; and his brothers, Richard, Archer, Thurman and Hatler.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Falk (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rudy Funeral Home (25650 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015).
