She was predeceased by: her parents, Filippo Genova and Carmela Genova; her husband Leonardo Cusumano; her son Frank Cusumano (Kathy); and her siblings, Antonio Genova, Vita Moceri, Carmelina Marciano, Pasquale "Pat" Genova, Guiseppe "Joe" Genova and Rosalia "Lena" Evola.
She is survived by: her children, Anza Cusumano and Philip Cusumano (Eileen); her grandchildren, Angela (Mike), Eric (Jessica), Janelle (Jacob), Julia (Matt), Leo, Jacquelyn and Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Caleb and Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). The lying in state was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Faustina Catholic Church (14025 Twelve Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
