We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Wayne K. Shaffer in Walled Lake, Michigan, born in Rochester, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Shaffer and Thomas Wallace Shaffer; and his pet Jake. He is survived by: his children, Corinne Hopkins (Ross) and Colin Shaffer; his stepmother Gwen Johnson Shaffer; his sister Wendy Shaffer; his half-sister Janna Hamaker (Jon); his nephews, Joed and Jessup (Mindy Shaffer); and his friend Christine Dowd. He is also survived by relatives, he dearly loved animals and especially dogs.
Contributions in Wayne's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Rochester, Bright Star German Shepherd Rescue in Rochester, or to the American Cancer Society.
