He was predeceased by: his parents, Kantcho Stantchev Kartunov and Deshka Stantcheva. He is survived by: his wife Maria Kartunow; his daughter Diana Tomow; his son-in-law Krystian Tomow; and his granddaughters, Sylvia Ciszek and Nicole Ciszek.
