It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Godfrey (Walled Lake, Michigan), born in Spring Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donovan Alvord and Vivian Alvord; and her niece Valerie Estry. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her daughters, Dianna Diffenderfer (Todd), Danielle Godfrey-Turner, Donna Harrison (Jay) and Dawn Heck (Kevin); her grandchildren, Shelby, Daniel, Thomas, Sean Diffenderfer, Rachael, Emily Turner, Julia, Abby Vannatter, Cooper of Hogan, AJ and Jameson Heck; her great grandchildren, Riley and Orion; her sister Virginia Rohraff; her brother-in-law Patrick Godfrey (Bridget); and her nieces and nephews, Cindy Glover (Rick), Evan, Emma, Daniel and Patrick Godfrey. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sharon's name to Hospitality House of Walled Lake, Rogel Cancer Center at University of Michigan, St Vincent DePaul at St William, or American Cancer Society.
