With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Kay Coakley of Walled Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Kay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Kay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Coakley; her sons, Patrick Coakley (Ashley) and Sean Coakley; and her grandchild Lennox Coakley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in honor of her memory.
