Diane Mary Cartter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Mary Cartter of Walled Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Lanzetta (Terranova) and Alfred Lanzetta. She is survived by: her husband William Cartter IIl; her sons, James Geoffrey II, Scott Geoffrey (Elizabeth) and William Cartter IV (Amanda); and her grandchildren, Daniel (Sally-Jo), Meghan, Shannon, Tara, Natalie and Bridgett. She is also survived by two dogs; and, many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. William Catholic Church (531 Common St, Walled Lake, MI 48390). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens (43300 W 12 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377).
