Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sharon Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Vertz and Lucille Vertz (Ferguson); her husband Donald Shampo; and her children, Cheryl Shampo and Jeffrey Shampo.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Hunt (Greg) of Wallace and Ronald Shampo (Beth) of Wausau, WI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stephenson United Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial gifts be made in Sharon's memory to the Mid County Rescue Squad. Keep Sharon's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
