It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Parrish of Wallace, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard A. Parrish and Florence E. Parrish (Miller); and his son-in-law Douglas Olson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Benchley of Wallace; his daughters, Kim Schwartz (Clark) of Wallace and Deb Olson of Wausaukee; his stepsons, Edward Benchley (Odessa) of Menominee and Tony Mech of Menominee; his granddaughter Stacey Johnson (Dan) of Wallace; his stepgrandson Nate Benchley of Menominee; and his great grandchildren, Madison and Levi Johnson of Wallace. He is also survived by 3 half-brothers; 1 half-sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church N (6095 US-41, Wallace, MI 49893). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
