It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn S. Newlin of Wallace, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Peterson and Blanda Peterson (Gustafson); her husband Gordon Newlin; her daughter Marilee Jensen; her granddaughter Ferris; her great grandchild Alayna; and her siblings, Gladvin, Stanley, Paul, Eleanor Anderson, Amy Johnson, Thelma Wall, Millie Peterson, Verna Newlin, Gloria Newlin and Aileen Kusch.
She is survived by: her children, Marvel Johnson of Anderson, IN., Marlene Dewar (Jim) of Bancroft, IA, Stuart (Sherry) of Longview, TX, Kevin (Sherry) of Wallace, MI, Marlin of Kilgore, TX, Jay (Tracy) of Diana, TX, Robin (Jenny) of Wallace, MI and Jeremy (Angela) of Kilgore, TX; and her son-in-law Ed Jensen of Lawton, OK.. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Country Bible Church (5636 US Hwy 41, Wallace, MI 49893). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
