It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Yancey of Walkerville, Michigan, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Cotton and Viola Cotton. She is survived by: her husband James; and her children, Jennifer, Patrick and James Jr.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
