He was predeceased by: his parent Howard Phillips; his brother Robert Phillips; and also, Jean Beaverson, Leora Clark and Ann Walker.
He is survived by: his parent Eugenia Phillips (Lester); his spouse Barbara A. Beaverson; his children, Kathy Miller (Richard) of Fayette, Steve Phillips (Barbara) of Fayette, Curt Phillips (Kriss Rashley) of Fayette and Jason Phillips (Tarra) of Fayette; his siblings, Richard Phillips (Patricia) of Delta and Deb Schaedler (Mel) of Waldron; and his grandchildren, Ashley, David, MaKayla, Kody, Harley, Sonny, Shelby and Tori.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in honor of Sonny be given to benefit Great Lakes Caring Hospice, Fayette Fire Department, or a charity of the donor's choice.
