Markel (Waldron, Michigan), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on May 25, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Ronald Markel; and her nephews, Michael Ladd and Byron Leininger. She is survived by: her husband Donald Charles Markel; her children, Kim King (Kip), Michael Clark (Jeri) of Bryan, OH, Kellie Fidler of Hudson, MI, Robert Franke (Cris) of Japan, Nicole Dick (William) of Westland, MI and Michelle Markel of Westland, MI; her brother James Cook; her grandchildren, Brian, Megan, Marcie, Michael, Jamie and Kaila; and her great grandchildren, Mollie, Sophie, Madison and Gabrielle.
