With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Newton of Waldron, Michigan, born in North Adams, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ruder and Loneita Ruder (Reeves); her son Randy Newton; her grandson Adam Newton; and her siblings, William Ruder, Thelma Hess and Janice Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony, Steven, John (Cheryl), Alan Newton (Patty), Christine Douglas, Brenda Gallippo and Lucinda Bernath (Mark); and her sister Willodean Scott. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hillsdale Humane Society or Caring Dunn Right.
