She is survived by: her mother Patricia Lois Nurmi (Makela); her daughter Liisa Cole (Ben); her grandchildren, Iyla and Gabriel; her sister Vickie Krueger; and her stepmother Viola M. Nurmi. She is also survived by numerous stepbrothers, stepsisters, cousins and friends.
