It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia L. Pensala of Wakefield, Michigan, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Linnea Susannah Makela (Autio); her husband Toivo Pensala of Waukegan, Illinois.; her children, Russell "Rusty" Nurmi, Randall Nurmi and Susan Nurmi; and her son-in-law Hugh Krueger.
She is survived by: her former spouse Rueben Nurmi; her daughter Vickie Krueger (Michel Orndorff); her granddaughter Liisa Cole (Ben); her stepchildren, Linda, Peggy, Sharon, Dennis and Marvin; her great grandchildren, Lyla and Gabe; and her close friend Evert Kivi.
