He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Leonard and Betty Bal; and his grandparents, Richard, Eleanor Haferkorn, Ray, Ruth VanGinkel and Caesar Groeneveld.
He is survived by: his parents, Joe Haferkorn and Nancy Haferkorn of Norway; his significant other Michele Haferkorn (Bal); his children, TJ Haferkorn (Alexa) of Marquette, Mandy Larson (Kyle) of Green Bay and Nick Haferkorn of Vulcan; his sisters, Kathy Malone (James) of Hermansville and Suzie Sheski (Steve) of Norway; and his parents-in-law, Lenny Bal (Kris) of Hamilton Lakes and Annette Meiner (Scott) of Powers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends and pets.
