We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2023, at the age of 76, Penney Phyllis Gierke in Vulcan, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayme Gierke (Jacobsen) and Howard Gierke; and her brother Rodney Gierke (Shirley). She is survived by: her brothers, Dewey (Helen) and John Gierke (Lesley Williams); and her nephew Eric Gierke.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Penney's name in support of Schoolcraft Memorial Hospice care would be most appreciated.
