He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ball and Stephanie Ball (Gnody); his wife Betty Chiesa; his sisters, Beatrice Zychowski and Evelyn Luba; and his brothers-in-law, John Baciak, Zygmund Zychowski, Adolph Rossato and Clyde Chiesa.
He is survived by: his children, Lenny Bal (Kris) of Hamilton Lakes, Annette Meiner (Scott) of Powers and Michele Haferkorn (Tom) of Vulcan; his grandchildren, Michael Bal (Alexa) of Jessica Bal, TJ, Mandy Larson (Kyle), Nick Haferkorn and Justin Meiner (Kenzie); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Logan, Kyle, Abby Bal and Ellie Meiner; his sister Helen Rossato of Vulcan; and his sisters-in-law, Jackie Boyer (Mike) of Starks, WI and Sandra Chiesa of Menominee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Leonard and Betty's names to the Herma Heart Institute on their great granddaughter Abby Bal's behalf.
