He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Noel and Dorothy Noel (Smith); his wife Janet Lee Noel (Zimmerman) of August; and his brothers, Lester and Virgil Noel.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Noel of Battle Creek, Wayne Noel of Portage, Terri Solomon of Kalamazoo, Sherry Shoemaker (Kevin Chesser) of Scotts and Steve Noel (Gaylee) of Vicksburg; and his siblings, Joan Sackrider (Jim), David Noel (Carolyn) of Adrian and Vera Thomas (Blenn) of Portage. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
