James Homer Swope Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Homer Swope of Vicksburg, Michigan, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swope and Virginia Swope (May); and his brother Fred Swope. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Swope (Miller); his sister Carla Wills (Gerard) of Lansing; his sons, Klinton Swope (Tracy) of Plainwell, MI and Matthew Swope (Nichole) of Weddington, NC; his stepson Nathan Welch (Denise) of Vicksburg, MI; his grandchildren, Christian Swope, Jacob Swope, Heidi Swope, Sydney Lapum (Blake) and Emma Welch; his sister-in-law Carol Swope; and his close friends, Mike and Marlene Kirchner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
