He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert J. Barrett and Mary A. Barrett (Clancy); and his siblings, Eleanor, Jack, Bob Pat, Dennis and Gerry (Ed Hageman).
He is survived by: his friend Roger Northrup; his former wife Sharon Golyar; his wife Phyllis Norris; his children, Phillip (Deb) of Scotts, Monica (Paul) of Delton, Chantal (Jack) and Farms; his brother Nick; and his stepchildren, Julie (Gary), Jerry, Shelley (Lou) and Steve.
Memorial contributions can be made to Rose Arbor Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
