He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Buckallew and Florence Buckallew; his siblings, Joe Buckallew, Beverly Schuring and Alice Dibble; and his grandchildren, Micah and Jacob Buckallew.

He is survived by: his son Wesley "Jack"; his wife Cynda Buckallew; his children, Jeff Buckallew (Kim) and Mark Buckallew (Mary); and his grandchildren, Jordan Buckallew (Lindsey), Chris, Daniela, Jason and Braiden Buckallew.
