He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stokes and Lennie Mae Stokes; his sons, Dwayne Stokes and Wade Stokes; and his siblings, Clities Henry Stokes, Mamie Maebell Witcher, Jewell Jarrett, Gladys Smith and Margaret Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Margetta Stokes; his children, Henry Allen Stokes (Kathya) of Effingham, Illinois and Margie Richards (Daniel) of Constantine, Michigan; his siblings, Freddie Stokes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ray Stokes of Fair Oaks, Arkansas, Cecil Stokes of Cicero, Indiana, Dorothy Humphrey of Pendleton, Indiana and Faye Canady of Searcy; his grandchildren, Angel (Brian, Travis, Shane), Tiffany, Jessie (Christina, Caynan, Chanelle) and Stephanie (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Cecelia, Roy Jr., Wyatt, August, Ezra and Olivia; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, John, Avi, Kaden and Corey. He is also survived by friends for his infamous dad jokes, magic tricks, and what a fun loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
