He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Brownell and Joyce Brownell (Bradley); his brother Scott Brownell; and his stepmother Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Brownell (Stinson); his children, Mary Brownell and Mitch Brownell; his brother Doug Brownell (Judy); and his stepsiblings, Steve Balinski (Barb) and Suzanne Charlier (Matt).
