She was predeceased by: her stepfather Wayne Ryland. She is survived by: her husband Mark Schaafsma; her children, Amy Schaafsma and David Schaafsma; her mother Joyce Ryland; and her brothers, Richard Claremont (Kendall Gladding) and Timothy Claremont (Jennifer). She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
