As Billie Jo departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Billie Jo. Though Billie Jo may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Berry and Josephine Berry (Limpritch); her husband Gary Longenecker; and her sisters, Jill Berry and Lucinda Stratton.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Keith Longenecker (Meranda) and Craig Longenecker (Tammy); and her granddaughter Kaitlyn-Marie Longenecker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Home (411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Fellowship Church (44 VW Ave W, Schoolcraft, MI 49087).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Billie's memory may be directed to Faith Fellowship Church.
