He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Hillard and Nona Hillard (Jenkins); his son Shaun Hillard; his brother Steve Hillard; and his nephew Corey Hillard.
He is survived by: his sons, Brice Hillard (Jamie), Ryan Hillard and Eric Hillard (Kelsey); and his siblings, Joe Hillard (Michelle) and Betty Shattuck (Scott). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
