He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Britten and Regina Britten (Beltinck); and his brothers, Gordon, Gale and Roger Britten.

He is survived by: his wife Ann McQueen; his sons, Trevor Britten (Danielle) and Corey Britten; and his brother Don Britten (Ann).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
