It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Eldon Hansen of Vestaburg, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold B. Hansen and Inez L. Hansen (Stratton); his son Gary; his brother Stanley Hansen; his son-in-law Dennis Platt; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth House, Charles House, Robert House and Jack Westerhof.
He is survived by: his wife Lila Hansen; his children, Phillip Hansen (Janice) of Sidney, Debra Platt of Edmore, Roger Hansen of Riverdale, Kevin Hansen (Glenda) of Vestaburg, Tammy Bennefield (Walter) of Lansing and Terry "Buzzy" Hansen of Riverdale; his brother Steven Hansen of Crystal; and his in-laws, Kay Curtiss (Stan) of Mt. Pleasant, Sandra Westerhof of Marine City and Pat Switzer (Larry) of Holt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family, to be donated at a later date.
