He was predeceased by: his father Royal; his sister Carroll Ann Brophy (Michael) of Holly; his wife Joyce Erskin; his mother Elizabeth Erskin Sr. (Hawk); his great grandchild Abigail Williams; his siblings, Nyle, Clair, Melvin, Raymond Erskin, Evelyn Stilson, Donna Jean Wood and Geraldine Schaeffer; and his parents-in-law, Lester and Bernice Norris.
He is survived by: his children, David Erskin (Marilyn) of Vestaburg, Ashley Slack (Michael), Nicole Humble (Calieb), Eric Erskin (Diane) of Delphi, Anna Williams, Amy McDonald (Ello), Andrew, Susan, Megan Erskin and Lisa Rogers (Mark) of Vestaburg; his grandchildren, Kate Drury (Jacob) and Matthew Rogers (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Jayden, Aleah, Memphis, Everett, Sierra, Paityn, Alexa, Everly and Gracelyn; and his sister-in-law Betty Erskin of Sparta.
