He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Trayer and Frances Waldron; his stepfather Lester Waldron; and his siblings, Bonnie, Maxine, Frieda, Randy, Terry and Emery.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Trayer; his children, Charlie Trayer (Cindy) of Vestaburg, Kelly Crooks (Randy) of Vestaburg and Jodi Halliwill (Levi) of Vestaburg; and his siblings, Rollie of Ron, George, Nancy, Wendy, Emma, Joyce and Barb. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Veteran origination of choice.
