With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Byington of Vermontville, Michigan, born in Herculaneum, Missouri, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Byington and Flora Byington (Blair); his wife Peggy Mardelle Byington (Buck); his grandsons, Alex and Derek; and his great grandchildren, LJ, Lilley and Jonathan.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Buck; his children, Sandra Mick (Dennis), Gwen Jo Anderson (Mark), Jeff Byington (Barb), Jennifer Hibdon (Jurrell), Cliff Byington (Karen) and Penny Byington (Allen Hapeman); his sister Alice Carty (Barry); and his brother-in-law Jon Buck (Connie). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Vermontville Bible Church (250 N Main St, Vermontville, MI 49096).
