He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Loar and Delpha Loar (Wray); his daughter Jacquelyn Blanchard; and his sisters, Sharon Coney and Charlene Houghton.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Loar; his children, Angela Nevins (Russ), Paul Davis (Amanda) and Shaun Davis; his grandchildren, Josh Blanchard (Brooke), Tyler Blanchard (Shelby), Austin Hogarth, Jared Davis (Skylyr), Anna Davis, Dustin Davis (Nicole) and Ryan Davis; and his nephews, Chris Coney and Sheldon Coney (Jennifer). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
