He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Dale and Artie May Dennis (Schull); his wife Marguerite Dennis; his grandson Michael Dennis; his great grandchild Brian Michael Wells; his siblings, Gaylord Dennis and Betty Courtney; and his son-in-law Bob Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Judy DeGroot (Jack) of Nashville, Kendale Dennis (Lynda) of Traverse City, Bill Dennis (Pat) of Vermontville, Janet Ellis of Hickory Corners and Mike Dennis (Diane) of Charlevoix. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
