Shirley A. Putman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Putman of Vassar, Michigan, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Auernhamer and May Auernhamer; her siblings, Floyd Auernhamer and Dorothy Schlicht; and her siblings-in-law, Sonja and John.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Putman; her daughters, Brenda MacKay (Michael) and Linette Redick (Brian); her grandchildren, Alexis Walsh (Jeff), Hilary Schiefer (Jeremy), Tanner MacKay (Layne), Bailey MacKay, Elijah Redick and Ethan Redick; her great grandchildren, Bo Walsh, Sloane Walsh, Lucille Walsh, Nola Schiefer, Willow Schiefer, Huxton Schiefer, Scout MacKay and Crew MacKay; her brother William Auernhamer; and her sister-in-law Esther Thornton (Allen). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church (3455 S Van Buren Rd, Reese, MI 48757). A burial was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at the St. Michael's Lutheran Cemetery (3400 S Van Buren Rd, Reese, MI 48757).
