He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Kern and Barbara Kern (Kralik); his wife Miss Carol Fabbro; his children, Jeremy Kern (Morgan) and Carrie Gilboe (Kevin); his grandchildren, Landon Kern, Cheyenne, Sara Burks, Jayden, Braylin Zieroff, Kaitlyn, Mariah and Carlie Gilboe; his sister Debra Colosky (Ted); his pets, Milo and Chloe; his son-in-law Mickey Gilboe; and his close friend Angie Torres. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
