He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hess and Vera Hess (Garner); his wife Wilda; and his sister Laura McAlpine. He is survived by: his children, Rick Hess (Marilyn), Jed Hess, Shelley Kischnick, Sheena Foster (Jeff) and Jan Hess (Barb).
