The memory of Michelle M. Kennard of Vassar, Michigan, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sykes and Betty Sykes; her former husband David Kennard; and her siblings, Scott Sykes and Judith Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, Erik Kennard (Jazman) and Elaine Germain (Bill); her grandchildren, Emily, Kaylee, Alec and Carly; her brothers, Mike Sykes (Rhonda), Steven Sykes and David Sykes (Tammy); and her in-laws, Raymond, Deloris Kennard, Mike, Mary Kennard, Kim, Michael Cunningham, Dale and Karen Becker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hanlin Funeral Home - Vassar (1148 W Saginaw Rd, Vassar, MI 48768). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church (334 Division St, Vassar, MI 48768).
