With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin H. Dowe of Vassar, Michigan, born in Macomb Township, Michigan, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dowe and Esther Dowe (Schade); his parents-in-law, Albert and Amanda Gettel; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Dowe.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gettel; his children, James Dowe (Janet), Mark Dowe (Melanie), Vickie Much (Michael) and David Dowe (Elizabeth); his brother Harold Dowe (Connie); and his sister-in-law Carol Mathis. He is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, 4-Step Grandchildren, 16 Grandchildren, six Step-Greatgrandchildren, other extended family and friends.
