Martin J. Bender Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin J. Bender of Vassar, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest L. Bender and Adelia Bender (Engelhart); his siblings, Ernest, Bob, Ken, Gordon Bender, Lulu Betty Bender, Lois Wedge, Marilyn Graubner, Celia Olmstead and Carol Kralik-Baker; and his grandson Gregg Stephen Geesey.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Grace Mallory (Peterhans); his wife Sherrian K. Kukulski; his former wife Janet Peterhans (Sherrian); his children, Mary Hemingway (Bruce), Kevin Bender, Julie Bender and Mark Bender (Tina); his grandchildren, Melanie Espinoza (Andrew), Rory Bender (Katherine), Cameron Bender and Ryhs Bender; and his stepchildren, Todd Kukulski (Heidi) and Lori Kukulski-Bamberger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
