Wilber of Vassar, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Demory and Mabel Demory (Young); her former husband Michael Chedister; her son Matthew Chedister; her siblings, Irene Opple and Jerry Demory; and her sister-in-law Peggy McBaine (Ron).
She is survived by: her husband Jim Wilber; her children, Michael Chedister, Jennifer Chedister-Galloway (Ian) and Jeremy Shew (Jennifer "JJ"); her grandchildren, Brandon Chedister, Mason Chedister, Jack Shew, Milo Galloway, Theo Galloway and Lola Galloway; her siblings, Pat Morris (Harold), Michael Demory (Diane) and David Demory (Linda); her mother-in-law Gertude Tkatch; her siblings-in-law, Ken Opple, Bob Wilber (Marilyn), Gary Wilber (Carla), Tom Chedister (Pam) and Michele Chedister-Gilbert; and her close friends, Jackie Sowa and Kathie Athey. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family to purchase books for student libraries in honor of Marie and her love of reading with her grandchildren.
