He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krumnauer and Marguerite Krumnauer (Stroebel); and his son Scott Krumnauer. He is survived by: his wife Jan Trinklein; his sons, Michael Krumnauer (Tillie) of Vassar, MI and Jason Krumnauer (Erica Hall) of Vassar; his daughter-in-law Patricia Krumnauer; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kayleigh, Kadyn, Jayme, Kase and Hadley Krumnauer; his sister Kathy Enser; and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Reinert (Dennis), Karen Palomares (Rick) and Larry Trinklein (Donna Tedford).
