Joanie L. Petty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 75, Joanie L. Petty (Vassar, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Swaffer and Marjorie "Marge" Swaffer; and her children, Riley William Petty, Jr. and Tammy Shonk. She is survived by: her husband Riley Petty; her children, Victoria Gabrysiak (Jesse), Wayne Petty and Michael Petty; her son-in-law Caleb Shonk; and her grandchildren, AJ Petty, Emily Petty, Carlen Shonk, Sabrina Petty and Corrie Petty.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hanlin Funeral Home (1148 W Saginaw Rd, Vassar, MI 48768). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
